In this research, endophytic fungi were isolated from stem and crown organs of strawberry and their antifungal activity against C. nymphaeae was tested. The selected isolates were identified as Penicillium hordei and Penicillium polonicum based on morphology and molecular characteristics. Antagonistic effects of selected isolates were evaluated against C. nymphaeae, through dual culture, volatile and non-volatile compounds production mechanisms in in vitro and greenhouse conditions. In volatile compounds test, two isolates of P. hordei and P. polonicum were able to reduce C. nymphaeae growth (34.05 and 42.36%) compared with control. In addition, isolates of P. hordei and P. polonicum reduced the strawberry anthracnose disease severity significantly in greenhouse conditions (58.9 to 61.4%) compared to the control. According to the results both in vitro and greenhouse experiments, both isolates reduced the growth of pathogen. Therefore, the results of this research showed that it may be possible to manage strawberry anthracnose disease effectively by using Penicillium species as biocontrol fungus. To our best knowledge, this is the first research related to the effects of Penicillium species on strawberry anthracnose.}, keywords = {biological control,Colletotrichum nymphaeae,endophytic fungi,strawberry}, title_fa = {Biocontrol potential of endophytic Penicillium spp. against strawberry anthracnose}, abstract_fa = {بیماری آنتراکنوز توت فرنگی به وسیله‌ی قارچ Colletotrichum nymphaeae ایجاد و یکی از مهمترین بیماریهای توت-فرنگی در استان کردستان است که خسارت قابل توجهی به این محصول وارد می‌کند. در این تحقیق تاثیر قارچ‌های اندوفیت جدا شده از ساقه و طوقه توت فرنگی روی این بیماری بررسی شد. جدایه‌های تاثیرگذار روی بیماری انتخاب و بر اساس روش‌های ریخت شناسی و مولکولی بررسی و سرانجام دو گونه Penicillium hordei و Penicillium polonicum شناسایی شدند. تاثیرات ضد قارچی هر دوگونه در شرایط آزمایشگاهی با استفاده از روش‌های کشت متقابل، تولید ترکیبات فرار و غیر فرار و شرایط گلخانه روی بیماری بررسی شد. هر دو گونه با تولید ترکیبات فرار توانستند رشد پرگنه قارچ را به میزان 05/34 تا 36/42 درصد در مقایسه با شاهد کاهش دهند. علاوه بر این دو گونه P. hordei و P. polonicum شدت بیماری آنتراکنوز توت فرنگی را به میزان 9/58 و 4/61 درصد بترتیب کاهش دادند. بنابر این، نتایج آزمایشگاهی و گلخانه‌ای نشان داد که هر دو گونه قارچ قادر هستند که این بیماری را تا حد قابل توجهی کاهش دهند و این امکان وجود دارد که گونه‌های جنس Penicillium بتوانند مدیریت بیماری آنتراکنوز توت فرنگی را فراهم کنند. بر اساس مطالعات صورت گرفته این اولین گزارش از تاثیر گونه های مربوط به Penicillium روی بیماری آنتراکنوز توت فرنگی است و لذا تحقیقات تکمیلی برای این مهم ضروری است.}, keywords_fa = {کنترل زیستی,Colletotrichum nymphaeae,قارچ,توت فرنگی}, url = {https://jbiocontrol.ut.ac.ir/article_71699.html}, eprint = {https://jbiocontrol.ut.ac.ir/article_71699_87e8ddb42ccded660849cafc94ac2051.pdf} }
